The invention relates to a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) for delivering pharmaceutical active ingredients, comprising a cover layer (7) and at least one active-ingredient-containing carrier material (1), wherein at least one retaining element (6a-6d) is located between the active-ingredient-containing carrier material and the cover layer, by means of which retaining element the active-ingredient-containing carrier material is fixed on the cover layer. The invention further relates to a method for fastening an active-ingredient-containing carrier material to a cover layer of a TTS in the presence of hook-and-loop strip segments and the use of a hook-and-loop strip in a method for the transdermal or iontophoretic administration of pharmaceutical or therapeutic active ingredients to patients. La invención se refiere a un sistema terapéutico transdérmico (TTS) para suministrar ingredientes activos farmacéuticos, que comprende una capa de respaldo (7) y por lo menos un material portador que contiene ingrediente activo (1), en donde al menos un elemento de retención (6a-6d) se localiza entre el material portador que contiene ingrediente activo y la capa de respaldo, por medio de dicho elemento de retención, el material portador que contiene ingrediente activo se fija a la capa de respaldo; la invención se refiere además a un método para sujetar un material portador que contiene ingrediente activo a una capa de respaldo de un TTS en presencia de segmentos de cinta de gancho y bucle y el uso de una cinta de gancho y bucle en un método para la administración transdérmica o iontoforética de ingredientes activos farmacéuticos o terapéuticos a pacientes.
