El ácido 4-amino-3-cloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-cloro-2-fluoro-3-metoxifeni l)piridina-2-carboxílico (halauxifen) o ácido 4-amino-3-cloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-cloro-2-fluoro-3-metoxifenil)piridi na-2-carboxílico o ésteres o sales aceptables en agricultura de los mismos se utilizan para el control selectivo antes y después de la aparición del brote de la vegetación indeseable en presencia de cultivos de viñas tales como uvas y otros cultivos perennes.
