Summary:The present disclosure is related to a solution for leaching precious metals contained in an ore, as well as its use and the leaching process, in which said solution is applied. The leaching solution for precious metals comprises NaCl, a non-toxic cyanide source, capable of performing both the oxidation and the metal complexation and at least one base to provide the alkaline pH to the solution. La presente invención consiste en una solución para la lixiviación de metales preciosos contenidos en un mineral así como su uso y el proceso de lixiviación en el que se aplique dicha solución. La solución para la lixiviación de metales preciosos comprende NaCl, una fuente no tóxica de cianuro capaz de realizar tanto la oxidación como el acomplejamiento de los metales y por lo menos una base para proveer el pH alcalino a la solución.
