Summary:The present disclosure is related to a method for obtaining healthy potato seedlings inoculated with beneficial bacteria, through an economic, easy to implement and efficient process. Contemplating the sprout induction in potato tubers, under complete darkness conditions, a relative humidity (RH) of 70% and 25°C; then the stains are removed and inoculated with a mixture of three beneficial bacteria producing inhibitory substances (EMMIM-5: comprised of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus PA15, Pseudomonas putida KT2440 and Sphingomonas sp. OF178). The inoculated sprouts are placed in bottles with sterile vermiculite, where they grow under plant chamber conditions with a 16/8 light/dark photoperiod, at 28°C/25°C, at 80% RH. The seedling growth of inoculated sprouts is healthy and good-looking, in contrast, the seedlings of uninoculated sprouts are easily contaminated with fungi. The generated seedlings can be transplanted to larger pots under greenhouse conditions or be cultivated in the field. The method of this invention has been referred to as EIBP-EMMIM-5, that means: Extraction and inoculation of potato sprouts with the EMMIM-5 bacteria mixture.
