Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for preparing a dialkyloxydianhyrohexitol (dimethylisosorbide) composition by etherification of dianhydrohexitol (isosorbide). The aim of the invention is to achieve a "clean" method that avoids the use of a methylation agent such as dimethyl sulfate or methyl chloride, which generate stoechiometric quantities of salts, or expensive dialkyl-carbonates, wherein only one of the two methyl groups participates in the preparation of mixed isosorbide ethers. Said method involves using at least one O-alkylation agent and a catalyst including an acid or an acid salt, preferably a catalyst having Lewis or BrØnsted acid properties. The present invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method according to at least one of the previous claims, characterized in that said device includes a vaporization oven and a reaction oven.
La presente invención se refiere a un método para preparar una composición de diaIquiloxidianhidrohexitol (isosorbida dimetílica) mediante la eterificación de dianhidrohexitol (isosorbida); el objetivo de la invención consiste en obtener un método "limpio" que evite el uso de un agente de metilación tal como sulfato de dimetilo o cloruro de metilo, el cual genera cantidades estequiométricas de sales, o carbonatos de dialquilo de costo elevado, donde únicamente uno de los dos grupos metilo participa en la preparación de éteres mixtos de la isosorbida; dicho método implica el uso de al menos un agente de O-alquilación y un catalizador que incluye un ácido o una sal de un ácido, preferentemente un catalizador con propiedades de ácido de Lewis o Brønsted; la presente invención se refiere además a un dispositivo para llevar a cabo el método de acuerdo con al menos una de las reivindicaciones previas, caracterizado porque dicho dispositivo incluye un horno de vaporización y un horno de reacción. |
