The invention relates to a conditioning and control device for vibrating string multiplexers with a USB communication port. The device of the present invention comprises a micro controller, four operational amplifiers, a comparator, two discrete transistors, a reference, and a micro controller with an analog-to-digital converter and two counters, an oscillator and a second micro controller for USB communication. The device receives a signal from a vibrating string type sensor that may (or may not) include a thermistor when is connected to a USB port of a PC, to a portable computer or a Tablet for feeding the device and allowing the configuration and reading software to be executed. There is also provided the option of reading vibrating strings that are connected to a multiplexer, since it includes the digital lines for generating the control signals required by multiplexers. Esta invención se refiere a un dispositivo de acondicionamiento y control de multiplexores para cuerdas vibrantes con puerto de comunicación USB. El dispositivo está compuesto de un micro controlador, cuatro amplificadores operacionales, un comparador, dos transistores discretos una referencia y un micro controlador con un convertidor analógico digital y dos contadores, un oscilador y un segundo micro controlador para comunicación USB. El dispositivo obtiene la señal de un sensor de cuerda vibrante con o sin termistor si se le conecta a un puerto USB de una PC, computadora portátil o Tablet que alimente al dispositivo y pueda ejecutar el software de configuración y lectura. También cuenta con la opción de leer cuerdas vibrantes conectadas a un multiplexor; ya que cuenta con las líneas digitales para generar las señales de control requeridas por los multiplexores.
