Summary:The present invention is related to a method for the manufacture of a food product for people suffering from diabetes mellitus. The method consists in producing nanomatrixes of TiO2 and extract of Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni, which comprises preparing a homogeneous solution of butyl alcohol, deionized water and extract of Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni, heating with constant agitation and reflux of 70°C, adding titanium n-butoxide, cooling and removing the solvent. La presente invención es relativa a un método para fabricar un producto alimenticio para personas con diabetes mellitus. Dicho método consiste en producir nanomatrices de TiO2 y extracto de Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni, el cual comprende preparar una solución homogénea de alcohol butílico, agua desionizada, y extracto de Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni, calentar con agitación constante y reflujo de 70°C, añadir n-butóxido de titanio, enfriar, y eliminar el solvente.
