Summary:The invention is referred to a driving system for a lift, which is based on the approximate straight line mechanism, best known as chebyshev mechanism. The lift is driven by being hooked to a series of four arrangements of chebyshev mechanisms along the whole journey. For achieving the aforementioned description, the lift includes four servomotors for rotating their respective axes, which include coupling blades assembled to the coupling link of the chebyshev mechanism, thus making the mid part of the link to be displaced in a vertical line with an approximation very close to the straight line. Once the travel is completed by the chebyshev mechanisms in turn, these transfer the drive shafts, to which the platform of the lift is attached, to the next chebyshev mechanisms. The main characteristic of the invention is that the servomotors never stop rotating in the same direction during its travel through the chebyshev mechanisms until the travel is completed. This technological developme nt removes the machine room upon including the driving shafts for providing the movement power inside the platform, under the cabin.
