An apparatus and method for placing food products into a food tray are disclosed. The apparatus comprises at least one sleeve at least one sleeve having a first end configured to singly receive food products and an at least partially closed second end opposite the first end. The at least one sleeve has a first position where the food products are singly receivable through the first end to form a stack having a predetermined orientation in the at least one sleeve. The at least one sleeve is configured to rotate from the first position to a second position where the food products are positioned over the food tray and substantially simultaneously unloaded in the predetermined orientation through an opening positioned between the first and second ends into the food tray. Un aparato y método para colocar productos alimenticios en una charola de alimentos se divulgan. El aparato comprende por lo menos un manguito teniendo un primer extremo configurado para recibir de manera singular productos alimenticios y un segundo extremo por lo menos parcialmente cerrado opuesto al primer extremo. El por lo menos un manguito tiene una primera posición donde los productos alimenticios se pueden recibir de manera singular a través del primer extremo para formar un apilamiento teniendo una orientación predeterminada en el por lo menos un manguito. El por lo menos un manguito se configura para girar a partir de la primera posición a una segunda posición donde los productos alimenticios se posicionan sobre la charola de alimentos y sustancialmente de manera simultánea se descargan en la orientación predeterminada a través de una abertura posicionada entre los primer y segundo extremos hacia la charola de alimentos.
