Summary:The present invention provides a solar concentrator for performing chemical reactions. The system applies the concentrated solar radiation over the external surface of a flask; this heating energy in the form of concentrated solar radiation is maintained as the system has a solar tracking device. The intensity is defined by opening or closing the two sheets that form the external screen of the concentrator, which are located in the upper portion of the same. The chemical reaction is monitored in real time and in a graphic manner, and controlled by the variables of: temperature present in the reactants contained in the flask, rotation speed of the flask, environmental temperature, instantaneous irradiance resulting from the sun measured by a pyranometer. La presente invención proporciona un concentrador solar para llevar a cabo reacciones químicas. El sistema en operación aplica la radiación solar concentrada sobre la superficie externa del matraz; esta energía de calentamiento en forma de radiación solar concentrada se mantiene debido a que el sistema cuenta con seguimiento solar. La intensidad se define abriendo o cerrando las dos hojas que conforman la pantalla externa del concentrador, las cuales se ubican en la parte superior. La reacción química es monitoreada en tiempo real y de manera gráfica, y controlado por las variables: temperatura presente en los reactivos que contiene el matraz, velocidad de rotación del matraz, temperatura ambiente, irradiancia instantánea proveniente del sol medida por medio de un piranómetro.
