The present invention refers to a symmetric mechanism that comprises 3 mobile links (drive, coupler and outlet), and a fixed link useful as a base, attached together by rotating joints, which is characterized by the arrangement of the links and the mounting thereof inside the housing, in such a manner that the movement generated between the links allows the door to be outwards or inwards rotated as required, which is actuated by a commercial electric motor using a remote control, thus automating the opening and closing of the double door. Esta invención se refiere a un mecanismo simétrico que comprende 3 eslabones móviles (motriz, acoplador y salida), mas otro eslabón fijo que sirve como base, unidos mediante articulaciones giratorias, se caracteriza por la configuración de sus eslabones y su montaje dentro de la casa habitación, de forma tal que el movimiento que se genera entre los eslabones permite que el portón gire hacia dentro o hacia fuera de la casa habitación según se requiera, accionado mediante un motor eléctrico comercial, el cual puede ser activado mediante un control remoto, con lo cual se puede automatizar la apertura y cierre de un portón de dos hojas.
