Se divulgan dispositivos médicos (10) con ajustes luer slip macho (12) con punta cónica macho que tiene una superficie externa rugosa o un ajuste (14) luer hembra con una superficie rugosa y métodos para su manufactura y uso. La superficie externa de la punta cónica macho o una superficie del ajuste luer hembra es rugosa (18) para incrementar la fuerza requerida para remover el ajuste luer macho a partir del ajuste luer hembra sin provocar una fuga de la conexión.
