Summary:The present invention shows a High Vacuum Reactor for the Synthesis of Copolymers, which is designed for preparing polymeric samples at high vacuum so as to be subsequently irradiated by ionizing radiation sources (gamma rays) in order to obtain copolymers by induced-graft. The equipment has two Teflon valves (high vacuum valves), an inlet coupled to a high vacuum pump, a balloon of 100 mL, five condensing devices, and an outlet coupled to a blister of 24 cm of length with a narrow mouth and a Teflon nozzle for generating high vacuum in the blisters where the samples are contained. The equipment is similar to an oil diffusion pump but designed for preparing samples of chemical reaction which require a high vacuum as a central process for obtaining products mainly used in the Materials Science. La presente invención muestra un Reactor de Alto Vacío para Síntesis de Copolímeros, diseñado para preparar muestras poliméricas en alto vacío para su posterior irradiación con fuentes de radiaciones ionizantes (rayos gamma), con el propósito de obtener copolímeros por injerto-inducido. El equipo cuenta con dos llaves de Teflón (llaves de alto vacío), una entrada que se acopla a una bomba de alto vacío, un balón de 100 mL, cinco condensadores, y una salida acoplada a una ampolleta de 24 cm de longitud con una boca estrecha y boquillas de teflón para generar alto vacío en las ampolletas donde se contienen las muestras. El equipo es parecido a una bomba de difusión de aceite pero diseñado para preparar muestras de reacciones químicas que requieren de alto vacío como proceso fundamental para la obtención de los productos utilizados principalmente en la ciencia de materiales.
