Summary:An ion mobility spectrometer has two drift chambers (11) and (12) and a common, doped reaction region (2). Each drift chamber includes an ion modifier (14) and (24), such as one that fragments the doped ions by a high electrical field. One of the drift chambers (11) is doped and the other (12) is undoped. In this way, the dopant adducts are removed by the modification process b?t then recombine with dopant only in the doped chamber.(11) so that different outputs are produced by the two drift chambers. Un espectr?metro de movilidad i?nica tiene dos c?maras de desplazamiento (11) y (12) y una regi?n com?n de reacci?n, adulterada (2). Cada c?mara de desplazamiento incluye un modificador i?nico (14) y (24), tal como uno que fragmenta los iones adulterados por medio de un gran campo el?ctrico. Una de las c?maras de desplazamiento (11) se encuentra adulterada y la otra (12) no se encuentra adulterada. De esta manera, los aductos de adulterantes se retiran por medio del proceso de modificaci?n, pero despu?s se recombinan con adulterantes ?nicamente en la c?mara adulterada (11), de tal manera que se producen diferentes resultados por las dos c?maras de desplazamiento.
