Summary:The present invention relates to a device and a process for reducing losses of fluid in transport conduits, caused by the installation of branches connected directly to conduits. The process comprises injecting in the current of the fluid geometric elements of diverse materials and forms, in particular spheres, with densities similar to that of the fluid, by means of a special doser; the circulation of said elements through the fluid, and because of hydraulic effects, the obstruction of the branches preventing or hindering extraction of the product; and recovery of the geometric elements at the end of the conduit by using a filter as a trap. La presente invención se dirige a un equipo y un proceso para reducir las pérdidas de fluido en ductos de transporte, causadas por la instalación de derivaciones acopladas directamente a los ductos. El proceso comprende la inyección a la corriente del fluido de elementos geométricos de materiales y formas diversas, especialmente esferas, con densidades similares a las del fluido, mediante un dosificador especial; la circulación de dichos elementos a través del fluido, y por efectos hidráulicos, la obstrucción de las derivaciones evitando o dificultando la extracción del producto; y la recuperación de los elementos geométricos al final del ducto utilizando un filtro como trampa.
