Described is a composition for a non-pharmacological beverage, which intends to increase the urinary citrate; the beverage contains the following components essential in a preparation of: 1) citric acid 1.4 gr. 2) potassium citrate 2.16 gr. and 3) purified water 350 ml, along with other common components such as sweeteners, preservatives, dyeing agents, aromatic agents, etc. Due to the fact that an important percentage of the population suffering from urinary lithiasis in Yucatan has hypocitraturia, the inventive beverage may be used to increase the urinary citrate in people suffering from the aforementioned disease. Se describe una composición para bebida no farmacológica, que tiene como objeto incrementar el citrato urinario; contiene los siguientes componentes esenciales en una proporción de: 1) ácido cítrico 1.4 gr, 2) Citrato de potasio 2.16 gr y 3) agua purificada 350ml, junto con otros componentes habituales tales como endulcorantes, conservantes, colorantes, aromatizantes, etc. Debido a que un porcentaje importante de la población con litiasis urinaria, de Yucatán posee hipocitraturia, podría utilizarse para incrementar el citrato urinario de los sujetos con este problema.
