Summary:A weatherstrip such as a glass run incorporates an associated anti-entrapment sensor. The glass run includes an elastomeric material having first and second legs interconnected by a base wall that together receive an associated automotive window peripheral edge and a recess formed in the elastomeric material dimensioned to receive the associated anti-entrapment sensor therein. The recess has a substantially T-shaped cross-sectional cavity in one embodiment and the pinch sensor has a substantially T-shaped cross-sectional conformation dimensioned for mating receipt in the T-shaped cavity. Facing, first and second flexible sidewall portions flex for ease of insertion and retention of the pinch sensor in the cavity. A fusible layer secures the weatherstrip and pinch sensor after assembly thereof. Preferably, the weatherstrip is formed from multiple materials, one of which is a low friction material. Un burlete, tal como un carril para vidrio, incorpora un sensor contra atrapamiento asociado. El carril para vidrio incluye un material elastomerico que tiene primera y segunda patas interconectadas por una pared de base que reciben juntas un borde periferico de ventana de automovil asociado, y un hundimiento formado el material elastomerico, dimensionado para recibir en el el sensor contra atrapamiento asociado. El hundimiento tiene una cavidad con seccion transversal sustancialmente en forma de T, en una modalidad, y el sensor de constriccion tiene una conformacion en seccion transversal sustancialmente en forma de T para recepcion cooperante en la cavidad en forma de T. Las porciones de pared lateral flexibles primera y segunda, de frente, se flexionan para facilitar la insercion y la retencion del sensor de constriccion en la cavidad. Una capa fusible asegura el burlete y el sensor de constriccion despues de su ensamble. De preferencia el burlete esta formado de multiples materiales, uno de los cuales es un material de baja friccion.
