Summary:The present technology relates to a method for preparing a mixture of solid potassium salts from a fermentation juice from a fermentation process for the production of chemical compounds in a pH-controlled fermentation medium by adding of a base comprising potassium hydroxide. The method comprises adding an acid to the fermentation juice in an amount sufficient to cause the precipitation of the mixture of potassium salts, and then separating the mixture of salts of potassium solid potassium acidified fermentation juice. The present technology also relates to the mixture of potassium salts obtained by said method and its use as fertilizer.
