Summary:An invention pertains to a method for prevention of complications in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). The method provides for analysis of DNA from peripherial blood lymphocytes. By genotyping HLA class I genes locus B*27 31 subtype a detection of subtypes HLA B*2704 and HLA B*2705 means that combined therapy should be used for prevention of the complications. Izgudrojums attiecas uz metodi komplikāciju novēršanai bērniem ar juvenilo idiopātisko artrītu (JIA). Metode paredz pacientu perifēro asiņu limfocītu DNS analizēšanu, ar elektroforēzi nosakot HLA-I klases gēna lokusa B*27 31. subtipa HLA-B*2704 subtipa un HLA-B*2705 subtipa esamību. Ja minētie subtipi tiek konstatēti, iespējams veikt komplikāciju rašanās novēršanas ārstēšanu.
