Summary:The proposed mechanical device and the method are intended for the lifting of person's body (a patient) lying, being unconscious, lying in coma, being under narcosis, shock, concussion or physical inability on a small height in order to move that person or to provide the medical care when the patient after the surgery lies on a surgery table in the inpatient hospital and the patient is to be moved to the trolley, the bed in the reanimation ward or the ward; also when the patient is to be moved from the ground to the medical vehicle after an accident or under the field conditions of trauma. The basic concept of the device: it consists of an empty frame of a size of a person's body which is put around the lying body, and afterwards the thin plates are being placed under that body; the plates are being supported by the shelves inside the frame. Afterwards the whole system with the body lying on it is being lifted on a height of the little wheels above the area of bearing in order to transport it to a desired location. The body is released in an opposite sequence with the reverse movement. When the plates are removed the patient's body remains lying on a transferred place. The patient has been moved without the influence of traumatic moves to his body while at the same time ensuring the permanent presence of the medical systems maintaining the vitally important living functions. The device has (6) constructively different versions made in accordance with the same concept. The constructions are simple and technological. They are produced in the universal metal working technology in an equipped production workshop. The innovation has the novelty of design and ergonomics. It brings a new quality to the area of the medical care, and it has a significant social and humane effect because it takes care of a patient and greatly lightens the work of the medical personnel.
