Summary:A stable, solid, water-soluble veterinary composition, wherein the active substance consists of the sodium salt of sulfachlorpyridazine and trimethoprim in a mass ratio of 5 to 1, and contains a mixture of (a) 1.6 to 3.3 per cent by mass of trimethoprim citrate applied to the surface of the particles of a water-soluble solid carrier, (b) 8.4 to 16.7 percent by mass of sulfachlorpyridazine-sodium and, optionally, (c) pharmaceutically acceptable additives consisting of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) and/or silica.
