Summary: | The invention discloses an aluminum oxide ceramic with high thermal shock resistance and its preparation method. The aluminum oxide ceramic with high thermal shock resistance, according to the mass percentage, comprises 95~98% micron-sized α- Al2O3 powder, 0.5~1% SiO2, 0.5~1% CaCO3, 0.5~1% talcum powder, 0.5~1% binder and 0~0.5% rare earth oxide or rare earth fluoride. According to the invention, micron-sized aluminum oxide powder is selected, rare earth oxide or fluoride are added, talcum powder, silicon dioxide and calcium carbonate are selected as the sintering aids, and polyvinyl alcohol is used as the binder, so that aluminum oxide ceramic products can be prepared through three steps of mixing, pressing and sintering. The process is simple and easy to operate, and can be sintered at a lower sintering temperature (1580-1600oC), and the prepared aluminum oxide has high thermal shock resistance property. The invention can save that cost of prepare aluminum oxide and prolong. |
