The telephone number searching and an automatic speech path forming method applied to a combined terminal, which has a cellular transmitting/receiving unit (1) generating a transmission frequency and a reception frequency to transmit and receive them to/from a cellular base station (32), a signal receiving unit (2) detecting a radio paging signal of a radio paging base station (32), an inputting unit (3) for inputting a voice or telephone number and a required function, an outputting unit (4) for informing a subscriber of the voice or received telephone number of a radio paging system or a cellular terminal system, a logic controlling unit (5) connected to the cellular transmitting/receiving unit (1), the radio paging signal receiving unit (2), the inputting unit (3) and the outputting unit (4) to control an input and an output signals, includes the steps of: storing a telephone number for setting a state of the combined terminal from a standby state to an automatic communication; receiving data to be transmitted from the base station (31 or 32) of the radio paging system or the cellular system in state that the combined terminal is in the standby state, and affirming that received data accords with data previously programmed in a micro processor (308) of the terminal, in case that it is data for the radio paging, after performing the above storing step; searching the telephone number stored by setting the automatic speech path to affirm that the stored telephone number accords with the received telephone number, if data accords, after the above receiving step; and forming the speech path by automatically dialing the memorized telephone number, if the received telephone number accords with the previously stored telephone number, after performing the above searching step.
