저 약량으로 광범위한 잡초의 방제가 가능하며, 또한 벼에 안전한 논용 제초제의 제조를 목적으로 하였다. 하기식 (Ⅰ)의 화합물 A 및 하기식 (Ⅱ)의 화합물 B를 함유하는 논용 제초제 조성물: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing a dichloropropinyloxyphenyl dimethylethyloxadiazolone, etc., as active ingredient, capable of controlling a wide range of weeds at low doses, causing no chemical injuries on paddy rice, and excellent in safety to farmers. CONSTITUTION: This herbicidal composition for paddy field contains, as active ingredients, (A) 3-[2,4-dichloro-5-(2-propinyloxy)phenyl]-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1,3,4- oxadiazol-2(3H)-one of formula I and (B) 1-(2-chlorobenzyl)-3-(α,α-dimethylbenzyl) urea of formula II in a weight ratio B/A of pref. 1-400, being applied pref. at 0.02-4 kg/ha based on the total amount of the active ingredients.
