Summary:The polycyanamide-bound dyes of formula (I) is prepared by (a) diazotizing polycyanamide in the concentrated sulfuric acid, and (b) coupling the diazotized polyamide with fat brown B, methyl orange or its sodium salt. In formula, X is an integer of 10 to 30, and A is (a), (b) and (c). The photocurrent property of the material is improved by doping with Br2 and it is useful for photocell.
