Summary: | The etching method for the manufacture of an electrode foil of an aluminium electrolytic condenser comprises (a) pretreating an aluminium foil of 90 m thickness in an aqueous 2 wt.% phosphoric acid solution, (b) etching the preptreated foil in an aqueous 6 wt.% hydrochloric acid and 1.5 wt.% phosphoric acid solution with the electric power source of a clamped triangular wave, and (c) chemical-treating it in an aqueous ammonium adipate. The etching method gives a high capacitance and a miniature construction for the condenser. |
