Summary:The heat treatment method improves the elogation of the alloy composed of Al-1.9-2.6 Li-2.4-3.0 Cu-0.08-0.15 Zr in wt.%. The Al-Li alloy receives a cold aging after solution treatment, and cold rolling (5 %) or stretching, and then the alloy undergoes the first low-temperature aging at 120 deg.C and reverting at 230-300 deg.C for 1 min to be subjected to the second aging at 200-250 deg.C for 20 min.
