Summary: | A sensor for detecting CO gas consists of (A) gold electrodes (2) (2') on the outside of ceramic tube (1) formed by screen printing; (B) Au/Pa lead wires (3) (3') from the electrodes; (C) paste-coat [composed of SnO2 pd as detecting material (4), Al2O3 and binder on the whole outface of the tube, and that is heat treated at 500-700 deg. C; and (D) inserted heat element (5) . The SnO2 Pd is prepd. by reacting SnCl4 and PdCl2 with ammonia at PH 12 to form ppte. and subsequently heat-oxidizing. |
