Summary: | The air conditioning unit mounted on a wall of a room is provided with an infrared detector which includes a thermistor or thermopile for sensing the temperature of successively scanned portions of the room. A sensor detects the temperature at the detector and a window for restricting the boundaries of the scanned portions. The detector is horizontally pivoted in conjunction with an opening from which warm or cold air is discharged, so that the portions of the room are successively scanned and supplied with air. The room temperature distribution is obtained from the outut signals from the detector. |
