Summary: | The epoxy resin having an improved storage stability is composed of a blend of (A) a major proportion by wt. of polyglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (Durrans' softening point 60-130 C), (B) 5-150% of a stoichiometric amount of trimellitic anhydride, and (C) a small amount of cat., characterised in that the blend contains by wt. of the polyglycidyl ether 0.1-0.5% at least one hindered N-contg. compound which (1) has an aq. pKa greater than 3.5, (2) has a B.P. above 125 C, and (3) is soluble in the polyglycidyl ether. |
