ANALOG-DIGITAL CONVERTING CIRCUIT
The circuit is for converting analog signal to digital one with a microprogram and a cheap D/A converter. The data from a CPU is applied to a D/A converter (DAC) which output is applied to an OP amp. (OP2). The compared output of the OP2 with a reference voltage is applied to a tristate inverter (TS...

Summary: | The circuit is for converting analog signal to digital one with a microprogram and a cheap D/A converter. The data from a CPU is applied to a D/A converter (DAC) which output is applied to an OP amp. (OP2). The compared output of the OP2 with a reference voltage is applied to a tristate inverter (TSI) which output signal is applied to a highest bit of a latch circuit (LAC) only when the output of a NAND gate (ND) is synchronised to the tristate inverter. The stored data in the latch circuit corresponds to the digital value of an applied analog data. |
