Summary:Cyclic amino benzisoxazolyl acetic esters of formula (I) and their salts are new. In (I), R1 is H or halogen; R2 is lower alkyl; Am is a 5- to 9-membered satd. cyclic amino gp. opt. substd. by lower alkyl. The link between the carboxyl gp. and the piperidine ring is at the 3- or 4-position. (I) are useful as anticholinergic antispasmodic agents with low side effects, e.g. mydriasis, inhibition of salivary secretion and tachycardia.
