Summary:This oil cooler assembly in a internal combustion engine has a recirculating lubricating circuit and a cooling circuit. The cooler housing has a planar end face and a slender internol cavity and its one end is opened to the planar end face. The cooler housing is attached on the engine and a separate a liquid flow passage is provided between the cooler housing and the lubricating circuit and the cooling cirucuit. The lubricant and the coolant circulate the cooler housing separately in the heat exchange means. A flat plat- like member is made betwen the housing and the supporter in the tube mounting means of the internal cavity.
