Summary:Break-spinning unit comprises body part with opening roller and fibers feed channel, the latter opening into a boss encompassed by the mouth rim of the spinning rotor. The feed channel outlet in the boss has a rear rim hot disposed radially to the rotor axis, but instead the inner end of the rear rim is further forward than the outer end in the direction of rotation of the rotor, i.e. the outlet rear rim is slanted. Specifically the boss carries a separator with an extended portion which confronts the feed channel outlet and is inclined at the same angle as the feed channel top wall. Fibers feed into the rotor is improved by the slanted feed channel outlet, and because fibers do not strike the separator at an angle, but flow along it without collection to foul outgoing formed yarn.
