Provided is a burner capable of exclusively burning a pulverized fuel and capable of exclusively burning an ammonia fuel. The burner comprises: an inner tube nozzle (61) that extends along a center axial line (CL) and that supplies a liquid ammonia fuel or an oil fuel into a furnace; a first flame holder (67) that holds a flame of the liquid ammonia fuel or oil fuel supplied from the inner tube nozzle (61); an outer tube nozzle (62) that is provided so as to extend along the center axial line (CL) and cover the inner tube nozzle (61), and that supplies the pulverized fuel and/or a primary air into the furnace (11); and a second flame holder (71) that holds a flame of the pulverized fuel supplied from the outer tube nozzle (62). The inner tube nozzle (61) comprises a fuel injection tip in which are formed: an ammonia flow channel in which the liquid ammonia fuel flows; and an oil flow channel in which the oil fuel flows and which constitutes a separate system from the ammonia flow channel.
