각각 덮개와 측판을 갖는 내조, 중간조 및 외조를 구비한 삼중 외피 탱크의 시공 방법을 제공한다. 상기 시공 방법은, 내조 덮개 상에 중간조 덮개를 임시고정하여 덮개 연결체를 형성하고, 상기 덮개 연결체의 주위에 소정 높이의 가이드 측판을 구축하고, 상기 덮개 연결체의 외주연과 상기 가이드 측판의 내면의 사이에 시일 처리를 실시하여 밀폐 공간을 형성하는 동시에, 당해 밀폐 공간에 에어를 공급하여 상기 덮개 연결체를 에어 레이징하고, 상기 에어 레이징된 상기 덮개 연결체의 상기 중간조 덮개 상에 외조 덮개의 적어도 일부를 형성하는 동시에, 상기 가이드 측판의 주위에 외조 측판을 구축한다.
