본 발명에 따른 배터리 팩은, 각각, 가스 또는 열을 감지하는 센서부재를 구비한 복수 개의 배터리 모듈; 상기 배터리 모듈과 연통하는 가스 벤팅패스를 내부에 구비하고 상기 배터리 모듈을 에워싸는 벽체 프레임을 포함한 팩 케이스; 및 상기 센서부재에서 발생하는 위험 신호에 기초하여, 상기 벽체 프레임에 냉매가 흐르도록 하여 상기 가스 벤팅패스를 냉각시키는 벤팅패스 쿨링유닛을 포함한다. A battery pack according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of battery modules each having a sensor member for sensing gas or heat; a pack case including a wall frame which has a gas venting pass in communication with the battery module inside and surrounds the battery module; and a venting pass cooling unit for cooling the gas venting pass by allowing a refrigerant to flow in the wall frame on the basis of a danger signal generated from the sensor member.
