One embodiment of the present invention provides a thin film transistor in which an active layer is protected by an optical filter layer, a display device including the thin film transistor, and a manufacturing method for the thin film transistor. Therefore, the thin film transistor can selectively block light incident onto an oxide semiconductor layer without increasing a size of a gate electrode.
