본 발명은 한국어 어휘 능력 수준에 기반한 영단어 학습 시스템 및 방법에 대한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 학습자가 한국어로 이해하고 있는 개념어를 학습할 목표 영단어로 설정하여, 학습자의 한국어 어휘 능력을 벗어나는 영단어 학습이 이루어지 않도록 해, 학습 거부감을 최소화하여 학습의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 일률적인 기준에서 영단어의 학습을 진행하는 것이 아니라 개념, 발음, 철자 순으로 영단어 테스트를 진행하여 학습자의 학습 능력을 파악해, 학습자가 이미 알고 있는 영단어의 학습을 배제하고 학습하여야 할 단어를 선정하고, 순차적으로 행하여진 테스트 결과에 따라 학습자가 리스닝, 스피킹, 철자 중 어느 부분이 약한지 판단하여 맞춤화된 영단어 학습이 이루어지도록 하고, 철자보다 발음, 스피킹에 대해 학습이 먼저 이루어지도록 하여, 시험 통과를 위한 학습이 아니라 원활한 의사 소통이 가능하도록 하는 학습이 이루어지도록 할 수 있는 영단어 학습 시스템 및 방법에 대한 것이다. The present invention relates to an English word learning system and method based on a Korean vocabulary proficiency level, and, specifically, to an English word learning system and method in which a concept word understood in Korean by a learner is set as a target English word to be learned, so as to prevent the learner from learning English words that are beyond the Korean vocabulary proficiency of the learner, thereby minimizing learning resistance and improving learning efficiency, English word tests are conducted in the order of concept, pronunciation and spelling, rather than learning English words on the basis of a uniform standard, so that the learning proficiency of the learner is identified, thereby allowing learning of English words the learner already knows to be excluded and words that should be learned to be selected, the area from among listening, speaking and spelling in which the learner is weak is determined according to the results of sequentially-conducted tests, so that English word learning is customized, and pronunciation and speaking are learned first before spelling so that learning is not for passing a test but rather for enabling smooth communication.
