The purpose of the present invention is to provide multishell quantum dots and a method for manufacturing same. The multishell quantum dots of the present invention do not include cadmium-based quantum dots, and thus are environmentally friendly. In addition, the present invention facilitates red light emission of quantum dots without inducing the artificial additional growth of the core and accordingly, quantum efficiency and stability are improved.
