The device comprises an image capturing unit configured to capture an image frame of a skin area to be treated, a motion/position sensor configured to sense a displacement of the device on the skin area, and a control means configured to process the captured image frame during a processing period, receive, from the motion sensor, a displacement of the device during the processing period, and determine whether to perform treatment based on the received displacement.
