본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리 관리 장치는 프로세서; 및 상기 프로세서를 통해 실행되는 적어도 하나의 명령을 저장하는 메모리를 포함할 수 있으며, 상기 적어도 하나의 명령은, BMS 데이터의 긴급 저장이 필요한 이벤트를 감지하도록 하는 명령; 상기 BMS 데이터의 긴급 저장이 필요한 이벤트를 감지함에 따라 상기 배터리를 포함하는 장치 내 제1 컨트롤러로 상기 BMS 데이터의 긴급 저장을 요청하도록 하는 명령; 및 상기 제1 컨트롤러로부터 상기 요청에 대한 응답을 수신하여, 상기 BMS 데이터를 상기 제1 컨트롤러로 전송하도록 하는 명령을 포함할 수 있다. A battery management apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a processor; and a memory that stores at least one instruction executed by the processor, wherein the at least one instruction may comprise: an instruction that enables to detect an event requiring emergency storage of BMS data; an instruction that enables to request the emergency storage of the BMS data from a first controller within an apparatus including a battery, upon detecting the event requiring the emergency storage of the BMS data; and an instruction that enables to receive, from the first controller, a response to the request and transmit the BMS data to the first controller.
