An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a first communication interface; a second communication interface; and a processor, which identifies a device having a connection history with a wearable device from among one or more devices if the wearable device is retrieved through the first communication interface, which transmits, through the second communication interface, to the identified device, a control command for displaying a UI for connection to the wearable device, and which controls, on the basis of a user input having been input into the UI displayed on the identified device, the first communication interface so as to connect to the wearable device.
