플랜트를 감시하기 위한 플랜트 감시 장치는, 상기 플랜트의 상태를 나타내는 복수의 변수의 계측 데이터를 규정 기간마다 취득하도록 구성된 계측 데이터 취득부와, 상기 복수의 변수에 관한 기준 데이터의 집합인 기준 데이터 집합과 상기 계측 데이터의 편차를 나타내는 편차 지푯값과, 상기 플랜트의 이상 진단을 하기 위한 진단용 임곗값을 비교하도록 구성된 비교부와, 상기 기준 데이터 집합을 갱신하도록 구성된 기준 데이터 갱신부와, 상기 플랜트 감시 장치의 동작 모드를, 상기 비교부에 의한 비교 결과에 근거하여 상기 플랜트의 감시를 행하는 감시 모드와, 상기 기준 데이터 갱신부에 의하여, 적어도 상기 편차 지푯값이 상기 진단용 임곗값보다 클 때의 상기 계측 데이터를 상기 기준 데이터 집합에 도입하는 학습 모드의 사이에서 전환하도록 구성된 동작 모드 전환부를 구비하고, 상기 동작 모드 전환부는, 상기 플랜트 감시 장치의 상기 감시 모드에서의 동작 중, 상기 편차 지푯값이 상기 진단용 임곗값보다 크며, 또한, 학습 모드 이행 조건이 충족되었을 때, 상기 동작 모드를 상기 감시 모드로부터 상기 학습 모드로 전환하도록 구성된다. A plant monitoring device for monitoring a plant is provided with: a measured data acquisition unit which, for each prescribed period, acquires measured data of multiple variables indicating the state of the plant; a comparison unit which compares a diagnostic threshold value, and a deviation indicator value, which indicates the deviation between measured data and a reference dataset that relates to the aforementioned multiple variables; a reference data updating unit which updates the reference dataset; and an operation mode switching unit which switches the operation mode of the plant monitoring device between a monitoring mode, in which plant monitoring is performed on the basis of the comparison results by the comparison unit and a learning mode, in which at least the measured data for which the deviation indicator value is greater than the diagnostic threshold value is imported into the reference dataset by the reference data update unit.
