The present application relates to a basic unit manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of an electrode assembly. The basic unit manufacturing apparatus of the present application comprises: a plasma processing unit which plasma processes at least one of the electrode and separator; a transfer unit which transfers the same number of electrodes and separators which are alternately stacked in a certain direction; and a heating joint which applies heat to bond the electrode and the separator to each other. The plasma processing unit is characterized in that it is installed in a direction parallel to the transfer direction of the electrode or the separator.
