The present invention relates to an electric compressor comprising: a housing; a motor generating power inside the housing; an inverter controlling the motor; a rotating shaft rotated by the motor; a spinning scroll spun by the rotating shaft; and a fixed scroll engaged with the spinning scroll. The housing includes: a motor housing accommodating the motor; an inverter housing accommodating the inverter; and an accumulator housing arranged between the motor housing and the inverter housing to capture a liquid refrigerant of refrigerants flowing thereinto from the outside of the housing. Therefore, the electric compressor can prevent the problem that the heat element of the inverter is not sufficiently cooled due to the heat of a bearing that supports the rotating shaft, and the problem that an accumulator causes the number of parts mounted on a vehicle to be increased, connecting pipes to need to be provided, and space efficiency to be reduced. 본 발명은 전동 압축기에 관한 것으로서, 하우징; 상기 하우징의 내부에서 동력을 발생시키는 모터; 상기 모터를 제어하는 인버터; 상기 모터에 의해 회전되는 회전축; 상기 회전축에 의해 선회 운동되는 선회 스크롤; 및 상기 선회 스크롤과 치합되는 고정 스크롤;을 포함하고, 상기 하우징은 상기 모터를 수용하는 모터 하우징, 상기 인버터를 수용하는 인버터 하우징 및 상기 모터 하우징과 상기 인버터 하우징의 사이에 배치되고 상기 하우징의 외부로부터 유입되는 냉매 중 액냉매를 포집하는 어큐뮬레이터 하우징을 포함함에 따라, 회전축을 지지하는 베어링의 열로 인해 인버터의 발열 소자가 충분히 냉각되지 못하는 문제점 및 어큐뮬레이터로 인해 차량에 장착되는 부품 수가 증가되고 연결 배관이 구비되어야 하며 공간 효율성이 저하되는 문제점을 방지할 수 있다.
