A gas engine (1) is an engine comprising, as combustion chambers of each cylinder (11), an auxiliary chamber (21) for igniting fuel gas to create a flame and a main chamber (20) for combusting a mixture of fuel gas and air using the flame generated in the auxiliary chamber (21), and includes an auxiliary chamber main pipe (39) for supplying fuel gas to the auxiliary chamber (21), an air supply passage (32) for distributing air supplied to the main chamber (20), and a communication pipe (41) communicating from the auxiliary chamber main pipe (39) to the air supply passage (32). (해결 수단) 가스 엔진(1)은 각 기통(11)의 연소실로서 연료 가스를 점화시켜서 화염을 발생시키는 부실(21)과, 부실(21)에서 발생한 화염을 사용해서 연료 가스 및 공기의 혼합기를 연소시키는 주실(20)을 구비한 엔진으로서, 부실(21)에 연료 가스를 공급하는 부실 주관(39)과, 주실(20)로 공급되는 공기를 유통하는 급기 통로(32)와, 부실 주관(39)으로부터 급기 통로(32)로 연통하는 연락관(41)을 구비한다.
