Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for activating a secondary battery including an activation step of activating the secondary battery. The activation step includes: a prepressure process of pressurizing the secondary battery and simultaneously heating the same using a heat source; an activation process of activating the secondary battery by charging the same with a constant current (CC); and an inspection process of inspecting whether a separator included in the secondary battery is defective using a voltage difference generated when charging the secondary battery. Accordingly, it is possible to detect whether the entire separator included in the secondary battery is defective.
본 발명은 이차전지를 활성화시키는 활성화 단계를 포함하는 이차전지의 활성화방법으로서, 상기 활성화 단계는, 상기 이차전지를 가압함과 동시에 열원을 이용하여 가열하는 예압 공정, 상기 이차전지에 정전류로 CC(constant current) 충전하여 활성화하는 활성화 공정, 및 상기 이차전지의 충전시 발생하는 전압차를 이용하여 이차전지에 포함된 분리막의 불량여부를 검사하는 검사공정을 포함한다. 이에 따라 이차전지에 포함된 분리막 전체의 불량여부를 검출할 수 있다. |
