An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a display; a memory which saves reference sound sources and the size of the reference sound source by frequency band; and a processor operatively connected with the display and the memory. The processor may be configured to select a first sound source; confirm the size of the first sound source by frequency band; compare the size of the reference sound source by frequency band and the size of the first sound source by frequency band to calculate a first characteristic, which is a characteristic of the first sound source by frequency band; and use the first characteristic to modify the size of the second sound source by frequency band. In addition, various embodiments can be implemented.
