According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may be provided. The electronic device comprises: a cradle including a mounting region and a sensing region formed adjacent to the mounting region; a circuit board including a sound output device which can be paired with the cradle and includes an output portion on one side thereof, wherein the sound output device may be mounted in the mounting region or detached from the mounting region, and a processor which is arranged in the cradle and configured to control the sound output device; and a sensor module arranged adjacent to the sensing region and electrically connected to the processor, wherein the output portion is configured to have at least one of a first type and a second type, the sensor module is configured to transmit information related to the type of the output portion to the processor, when the output portion is in contact with the sensor module or approaches adjacent to the sensor module, and the processor is configured to transmit, to the sound output module, a sound parameter corresponding to the type of the output portion and for adjusting a sound output setting of the sound output module.
